Saul Madrigal manages the Hay and Forage harvest for Three Mile Canyon Farm & Dairy.
This dairy is *MILKING* 14,500 cows
Saul tells me they have 6,000 acres of alfalfa that they cut 6 times per year. They use 2 18 wheel Golden Eagle rakes just for the alfalfa crop. Saul purchased thes rakes at the begining of the 2005 season and has not replaced the tines and depth bands since.
Three mile farms also harvests about 9,000 acres of forage. for this they purchased 2 24 wheel rakes at the begining of the 2005 season.
