The Golden Eagle Wheel Rake was designed to help with the challenges in raking or merging hay & forage crops. The depth band feature really works to eliminate dirt and rocks when raking or merging. This feature also increases tine life to more than five times of conventional wheel rakes.
The large Rakes have done a great deal to help the farmer to cut down fuel costs by merging three swaths into one or two windrows. The Eagle Rake also helps the farmer to get more done in a short amount of time.

Myth Buster: Larger wheels are gentler on the hay and allow you to travel faster. NOT!
Our testing has proven that the size of the wheel is not near as important as the presentation of the hay from wheel to wheel. The higher on the wheel that you transfer the hay to the next wheel the gentler the hay is handled. This also prevents the roping of the product and creates a hollow windrow for better drying. This is much harder to do on a larger wheel. You will have to travel much faster to accomplish the roll therefore shattering the hay. If you do not travel fast enough the hay drops to the ground before being picked up by the next wheel, dragging the hay instead of lifting it and that is what makes a roped up windrow. The larger wheel will bend or break much easier. Besides all of that it is the moisture content in the hay that determines how fast you can rake!!
The only advantage we could find with a larger wheel is that the retooling costs would put more money in our pocket.
WE PASSED!!

This next rake is our 18 wheel rake! Try this with your rake! This field was three ton hay and was cut with an 18' header. It was also piled hay not laid out. Drying conditions demanded it to be single raked.

| UNIQUE NEW WHEEL RAKE FRAME DESIGN
- Pivoting V frame allows for less wear and longer life than telescoping frames.
- Frame is designed to move and flex with the contour of the field, allowing for longer frame life.
- Opening and closing the rake is done with a simple touch of a switch.
- This frame will close the rake to legal road width for Highway travel.
- When traveling from field to field there are built in turn signals and tail lights for maximum safety.
- Steering axles are mounted in the center of the rake wing allowing better field maneuvering.
- Frame design allows the option of raking with a pickup (great for custom operations).
- NO GREESE ZERKS! High tech poly bushings allow for longer bushing life without grease.

Hay Raking or Merging, Bigger is Better
-
The Golden Eagles' unique design allows us to build the worlds largest wheel rakes.
-
Bigger rakes cover more ground in a single pass which dramatically reduces raking time and fuel costs.
-
The big wheel rakes are much less expensive than mergers and do a cleaner job.
-
Our 30 and 24 wheel rakes can rake three cuts into one or two windrows.
-
A large five wheel center kicker divides the center windrow merging it evenly with the outside two.
-
No one else can do this in one pass and fluff all three windrows into a very uniform windrow or two seperate windrows leaving 6' between them.
-
The Golden Eagle Wheel Rakes works equally well in dry or wet hay.
-
Proven! 40,000 plus acres before retooling is needed!

| Our smaller hay rakes are equally rugged.
Rakes are all made using high tech material, heavy duty steel, extra plating, extra gussets and extra supports.
Our rakes are designed to flex and move with the terrain.
It is fast and easy to move our rakes from field to field.
In travel position, our rake folds up to legal road width, pulls like a trailer and can travel at highway speeds comfortably and legally.
Inexpensive depth bands keep the tines out of the soil, raking cleaner and extending the tine life.
Single point adjustment makes it very easy to adjust the flotation of all the wheels on one side with one screw.
Wheels can be adjusted individually as well.
